The Panorama girl’s basketball team will tip-off their season tonight.

The Panthers are looking to build off a stellar 22-2 2018-19 season. Panorama will be led this year by first-year head coach Kylee Boettcher, who has been coaching the junior high team for the last 10 seasons, as well as helping with the high school program. Last season the Panthers started their season with an 11-game winning streak before suffering their lone regular season loss to Des Moines Christian. Sophomore Peyton Beckman will enter the season as the top returning scorer from a year ago. Beckman averaged just under nine points per game, 40 assists, and 72 steals.

Harlan is hoping to build off a 5-17 record last season. The last time these two teams played, Harlan etched a 44-42 victory en route to a perfect 2013-14 season. The game will tip-off at 7:30 p.m. in Panora.
