Adverse weather is heading toward the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area.

According to the National Weather Service, Greene County will be under a winter weather advisory from 6pm tonight through noon tomorrow. During the advisory, Greene County could see a trace amount to two inches of snowfall, along with possibly light wintry mix with freezing rain. Dallas and Guthrie counties could see a trace amount of snow and some rain. Winds will be as high as 48-miles-per-hour through Wednesday morning.

The weather could cause travel issues on the roads. Motorists are reminded to drive to the conditions of the road and watch out for plow crews. The one to count on for winter weather coverage is the Raccoon Valley Radio Network.
