The Jefferson Police Department recently received another donation.

Prestige Automotive in Scranton made a donation to the police department for equipment upgrades. Funds were used to update the department’s entry vests for all of the patrol vehicles. According to the police department, the vests are used to keep officers safe in dangerous situations when they need to enter a home, which could involve using firearms. 

The department thanks the area business for their generous donation.
