2:46pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 220th Street near Eaton Avenue.

5:36pm: A deputy investigated a hunter that was actively hunting in City Limits on East Central Street, Jefferson.

6:09pm: A deputy investigated an illegal hunting complaint on 222nd Street just east of Jefferson.

Saturday, November 23rd

7:05am: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on 250th Street near M Avenue.

8:30am: James Cunningham 45 of Jefferson was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.

8:44am: A deputy assisted with a medical call on U Avenue near 310th Street.

11:43am: A deputy investigated complaint of improperly installed street signs in the 800 block of Locust Street, Scranton.

1:41pm: A deputy and Scranton Fire responded to Casey’s in Scranton for a fuel spill.

3:12pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 220th Street near W Avenue.

3:55pm: Cristian Paniagua 24 of Jefferson was booked into jail for possession of a controlled substance 1st offense.

5:20pm: A deputy assisted an Iowa State Trooper with a traffic stop on Neola Avenue and 300th Street.

10:25pm: A deputy removed a deer from the roadway on E Avenue near 250th Street.

10:37pm: A deputy assisted an Iowa State Trooper with a traffic stop on U Avenue near Y Avenue.

Sunday, November 24th

3:55am: A deputy investigated a trespass complaint in the 2400 block of 337th Street.

7:08am: A deputy conducted a traffic stop on N Avenue near 150 th Street. During the

stop the deputy noticed an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Marijuana, prescription medications, and drug paraphernalia were located. Charges are pending for lab results.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
