For every single basketball team, anytime you can get to the free throw line usually is a key to any offensive attack. Often times, making your free throws can be the difference between a win and a loss as well. For the West Central Valley Wildcats girls basketball team, they had a good offensive attack a year ago but one place for some room for improvement is the free throw line.

During the 2018-19 season, the Lady Wildcats shot 52% from the free throw line. They got to the line a total of 256 times on the year, or about twelve times a game. The Lady Wildcats did a great job of getting to the line on a regular basis, but at times couldn’t hit their shots from the charity stripe.

If the Lady Wildcats can make improvements from the line this year, expect their points per game average to go up compared to last year.
