Today’s society relies heavily on digital devices. With that in mind, it can be a challenge for parents and guardians to safeguard children from its risks. 

A special program is taking place tomorrow in Jefferson to help adults better navigate that world. The “Parenting in the Digital Age” will be at the First Baptist Church at 4pm. This free workshop features a guest speaker who has over 28 years experience as a school psychologist. Jim Ott will walk parents through ideas and skills that will focus on the pressure and challenges this generation of parents face. 

Light refreshments will be served following a question and answer period.
