Guthrie Center residents and visitors can find deals throughout downtown during the holiday weekend as Main Street Guthrie Center hosts Small Business Saturday.
Twelve businesses are participating, and a third of them have newly opened or relocated in the last year. For those who spend $50 or more at a local business they can stop by during the Guthrie County Arts Council’s Holiday Artist Showcase Series to pick up a free poinsettia from Main Street Guthrie Center Director Dana Buster, “I usually set up shop over at Art on State just because they are so courteous to have me in there plus there’s a coffee pot in there so it’s a great place for me to hang out for the day and talk with people about what they like about the downtown and what stores they’re enjoying and we just have a lot going on this year with adding some new stores here so we’re very excited for Small Business Saturday.”
Shoppers just have to show their proof of receipt to Buster, who will be at Art on State from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, November 30th.
