The first Panorama girl’s basketball game is finally less than a week away.

Next Tuesday, the Panthers will welcome Harlan to town. Panorama is coming off a great season a year ago when they went 22-2. The Panthers started their season with an 11-game winning streak before suffering their lone regular season loss to Des Moines Christian. Sophomore Peyton Beckman will enter the season as the top returning scorer from a year ago. Beckman averaged just under nine points per game, 40 assists, and 72 steals.

Harlan is hoping to build off a 5-17 record last season. The last time these two teams played, Harlan etched a 44-42 victory en route to a perfect 2013-14 season. The game will tip-off at 7:30 p.m. in Panora.
