The Perry Public Library will be kicking off their fall and winter storytime programs for kids tomorrow, but there’s still time to sign up.

Children’s Librarian Suzanne Kestel says the four-week unit she’s about to roll out will focus on cooking, which she points out has become an annual program. “This is the only one that I repeat every year, because it’s so popular. The children receive an apron and we do really simple snacks. It’s just four weeks of fun! We enjoy having the snack, the kids all wear their aprons (and) they look adorable. And it’s just a fun thing to do, kind of kicking off towards November and December with the holidays coming.”

The program for children age 18 months to three years will begin tomorrow from 10:15-11 a.m., and will meet at that time the next three Tuesdays after that. Those age four and five will meet on Wednesdays during the same time frame. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required so Kestel can ensure there are enough materials for everyone. For more information or to sign up, stop in or call the library at 515-465-3569.
