The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene Tuesday morning in regular session.
The meeting will begin with consideration of a consent request for refugee admission. That will be followed by discussion and possible action regarding the annual report from Weed Commissioner Jim Uthe. Next, the Board will consider a sublease to the Iowa Department of Transportation for the building located at 918 Court Street in Adel, which currently houses the County-run driver’s license station. The Supervisors will then join Auditor Julia Helm for the second canvass of the recent city and school election.
Other items on the agenda include: further discussion on generator purchases for the current jail facility and the courthouse; the abatement of mobile home taxes; and the final Board meeting in December. The meeting will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in downtown Adel.
