Landus Cooperative is currently seeking a new CEO.

Former CEO Milan Kucerak mutually parted ways with the agriculture company on October 11th. In a press release, cooperative officials said they are “focused on meeting the expectations of its farmer-members in today’s difficult agriculture economy.” Since Kucerak’s departure, Landus Cooperative Chief Financial Officer Mark Miner was announced as interim CEO.

The cooperative’s Board of Directors is working with CliftonLarsonAllen LLP (CLA) to conduct an internal and external search for a new CEO. Landus Cooperative Director of Communications Alicia Heun tells Raccoon Valley Radio CLA is responsible for the applications, screening and interviewing process, as they work closely with the Board. Each candidate will be assessed by CLA and along with the Board, to move as swiftly as possible to find the best person to be the new CEO.

Kucerak was Landus’ only CEO since the company merged from West Central Cooperative and Farmers Cooperative Company in 2016. Heun adds no timetable has been set for when a new CEO will be announced.
