The Stuart City Council will meet in regular session today.

The meeting will begin with the Council considering approval of the City’s comprehensive plan presented by Region XII Council of Governments. Next, the Council will consider approving an amendment to their parking regulation ordinance, as well as no parking and stop intersection resolutions. Later, the Council will consider approving a resolution for a bond purchase agreement, a city audit service contract, and the fiscal year 2019 financial report. They will also consider approval of 2019 tax increment finance certificates, hold public hearings on proposed development agreements with Stuart Enterprise for Economic Development and Casey’s General Store, and consider a certificate of completion for the Wambold Phase 2 addition. Finally, the Council will set bid and public hearing dates for the Southwest 3rd Street storm sewer extension project, consider approval of a fire alarm monitoring system for City Hall, and discuss the All Saints Addition project and blight housing program.

The Council meets at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers.
