Among the new ideas Greene County Activities Director Todd Gordon has implemented in his first year here is a Greene County Athletic Hall of Fame. Those in the inaugural class are:

• Bill Kibby- retired teacher, head football coach, and activities director starting in 1988
• 1988 Jefferson-Scranton graduate Trisha Waugh Pipkin- volleyball and basketball
• 1991 J-S grad Kristi Kinne Hayes- basketball and track & field
• 1994 Girls’ Class 2A State Champion track & field squad
• 1995 J-S grad Brent Mac Lagan- football and track & field

On Thursday, Jan. 16, there will be a community reception in the high school commons area from 6-7:30 p.m. A short program will take place at 6:45 p.m. in the high school auditorium.

On Friday, Jan. 17, the honorees will be recognized at the Rams’ basketball games with Gilbert. The induction will take place right after the girls’ game, at approximately 7:15 p.m.
