With the Jefferson Rotary auction just days away, the local service club highlights one worthy cause that they donated funds toward.

At last year’s auction, the final item was a “fund-a-need” where one non-profit group was selected as the beneficiary from several individual donors. The Greene County Early Learning Center was the group that received $12,850 to be used to address future building needs. Early Learning Center Director Cherie Cerveny says the funds will help them move forward while having the best interests of children and families in mind.

The auction will take place Friday, November 15th at the Greene Room events center at Wild Rose Casino and Resorts in Jefferson. A social hour begins at 5:30pm, followed by a meal at 6:30. The live and silent auctions will wrap up the event. Tickets are $50 each and you can purchase them from any Rotarian or by contacting Auction Chair Carol Durbin at 515-302-8050 or Rotarian Adam Pedersen at 515-370-5066.
