Thursday, November 7th

6:09am: Junior Lopez reported a vehicle had slid off the roadway in the 700 Block of East Lincoln Way Street and was in the fairgrounds grassy area. The vehicle was gone when the officer arrived.

8:22am: A Traffic Stop in the 400 Block of South Vine Street resulted in Amanda Mitchell of Rippey being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

11:28am: An officer checked on an Alarm Activation at 204 West Madison Street. All was fine at the facility.

12:34pm: Dispatch advised of an Open Line 911 Call at 504 South Oak Street. It was an accidental call and all was fine.

4:01pm: Teresa Gregerson spoke with an officer about unwanted contact from a Jefferson male, while working at 220 North Chestnut Street. Officers are working to speak with the male to end the issue.

5:04pm: Brittany Gunn spoke with an officer to report Suspicious Behavior from a male as she shopped on the square.

9:22pm: A Traffic Stop was performed at Hwy. 4 and 257 th Street, after the officer’s radar locked the vehicle at 10 mph over in the 1400 Block of South Elm Street. The officer’s investigation led to the arrest of Gary Wayne Lincoln, 60 of Dexter for, “OWI 1st Offense – Serious, and Excessive Speed – Simple.”

10:39pm: An officer assisted a deputy on a Medical Call at 1502 235th Street.
