An event is returning for the holiday season following its successful inaugural year.

The Thomas Jefferson Gardens Board is looking for households that want to show-off their holiday decorations by being highlighted on a map. Those households that are interested can call the Thomas Jefferson Gardens Education and Welcome Center at 515-386-2155 by November 15th. 

Maps will then be available from November 30th-December 24th and they will be at the Greene County Chamber and Tourism Office, various businesses and the six county libraries. Participants are asked to have their light displays on from 5:30-9pm each night.

The Holiday Lighting event is free and no prizes are awarded. Households are encouraged to participate to get everyone in the holiday spirit.
