A Tennessee man was recently sentenced in Greene County District Court for a Grand Junction incident.

According to court documents, 34-year-old Allen Gentry pled guilty to a lesser charge of a serious misdemeanor for assault causing bodily injury. He was sentenced to 60 days in the Greene County Jail and was given credit for time already served. 

The charge stemmed from an August 26th incident at a motel in Grand Junction. Gentry assaulted the victim in his motel room. He was also ordered to pay over $400 in fines and surcharges. He was originally charged with a Class C Felony for third-degree sexual abuse.
