Wednesday, November 6th
12:02am: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 200 Block of East Perry Street.
2:04am: A Traffic Stop at 220th and Doreen Wilbur Drive resulted in Andrew Winters of Jefferson was cited for, “Operation without Registration.”
1:15am: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 600 Block of Rushview Drive.
1:34am: An officer responded to an Alarm Activation at 200 West State Street. The officer found the bank to be secure.
9:45am: Dean Promes reported a deer had been struck in the 1300 Block of South Elm Street an was still on the roadway. The officer responded and issued a Salvage Tag for a local resident to take the deer.
2:17pm: Mike Mentzer reported construction vehicles blocking mailboxes in the 500 Block of East Clark Street. The officer spoke to construction workers and had the vehicles moved to allow residents to receive their mail.
2:36pm: Teresa Gregerson spoke with an officer about Unwanted Text Messages.
2:46pm: Kelsey Stringer reported to an officer that she was Assaulted while walking in the 800 Block of North Cedar Street. Stringer advised she was struck from behind and assaulted while on the ground. She could provide no description of the person(s) involved.
4:34pm: A caller requested a Welfare Check on a dog tied out at 619 South Olive Street. The officer found the animal had access to shelter, food, and water. No action was taken by the officer.
7:00pm: Duane Dozier reported a vehicle was broken down near 220th and Elm Streets. The officer contacted the registered owner and it was removed a short time later.
******** An officer has requested an Arrest Warrant after lab results came back on seized items. The items were seized from a male at 606 Hwy. 30 East, after the officer smelled marijuana on a customer at the business on 11/01/2019. The requested warrant is for Michael Allen Clement, 58 of Boone for, “Possession of Controlled Substance/Marijuana 1st Offense – Serious.”
