The AC/GC volleyball team had a record setting 2019 season.

In back to back seasons the AC/GC volleyball team ended the season with 21 victories. In 2017 and 2018 the Chargers concluded their season with a 21-10 record which was the single-season win record heading into the year. This season AC/GC would not be denied. The Chargers went into a weekend tournament at CAM High School on October 12th with a 21-3 record. The road to 22 wins looked good for AC/GC as they had 12 more regular season matches to work with. The Chargers only needed two sets in their first match on that Saturday morning to earn that elusive 22nd victory as they outscored Paton-Churdan 42-14 in two sets. AC/GC was on fire from the serving line all match with 12 aces. AC/GC would go on to finish the season with 28 victories and fell one match short from an appearance in the regional championship.
