Six Greene County High School volleyball players have earned All-Academic recognition from the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference. In order to earn the achievement, students need a minimum 3.25 Grade Point Average (GPA) on a 4.00 scale, must be a junior or senior, and be a player or manager.
Academic honorees from Greene County HS in volleyball are seniors Aubrey Heupel, Paige Heaning, Harleigh Weir, Eliza Carlson, and Victoria Peterson. Brianna Osterson was the lone Greene County junior to qualify.
Head Coach Chris Heisterkamp watched the Rams go from seven victories in 2018 to 12 wins this year, while maintaining strong academics.
The HOIAC All-Conference selections will be announced once all conference teams have completed their seasons.
