The time frame has passed for those requesting an absentee ballot by mail for the upcoming city and school board elections, but those still wanting to vote early can do so.
Eligible voters in Greene County can cast their ballots now at the Greene County Auditor’s Office through Monday, November 4th at 5pm. Deputy Auditor Billie Hoskins says as of Wednesday morning, 214 people have requested an absentee ballot by mail or voted in-person at their office. She adds, 56 ballots have not been returned.
As a reminder, polls will be open from 7am-8pm on Tuesday, November 5th. Raccoon Valley Radio will have election results after the polls close. For some of the contested city and school board elections, Raccoon Valley Radio’s Meet the Candidates In Depth News Magazine is now available through the on-demand menu on our website at raccoonvalleyradio.com under the listen live tab. A special re-airing of the program will be at 1pm Monday.
