Former Iowa State University and NFL quarterback Seneca Wallace was in Jefferson on Saturday morning. He made an appearance at Wild Rose Casino & Resort and while he was in town, visited with Raccoon Valley Radio.

Wallace talked about life after football. “Life after football is good, it’s a ride! I started some Wingstop franchises in the Des Moines area and being a franchisee and trying to manage from afar is one of the challenges because I don’t live in Iowa. I try and take what I learned from my playing days and translate that into the franchise part of it, so it’s been good.”

Three young children, ages four years to four months, also keep him hopping. “I’m busy! I’m busy, so it’s a good time of my life right now.”
