This week will be a busy one for the fall sports programs of Dallas Center-Grimes High School.

Tomorrow night, the DC-G Volleyball team, 30-6 on the season, begins Postseason play hosting a Regional match against Ballard.  Coach Cheryl Voelker’s team is pursuing a return trip to the State Tournament in Cedar Rapids this year.  Last year the Fillies finished the season with a 36-5 record.

Friday night, DC-G Football welcomes the Cyclones or Harlan to Grimes for a first round playoff football game.  DC-G is the #10 seed in the bracket, while Harlan is seeded #8.  You can listen to that game with play-by-play coverage on KDLS.  Pregame is at 6:00pm, with a kickoff of 7:00pm.

And finally, on Saturday, the Boys’ and Girls’ Cross Country teams of DC-G will make the trip to the State Meet in Fort Dodge.  Races begin at Noon on Saturday.
