The ADM Lady Tigers volleyball team lost a heartbreaker on Wednesday night to the Harlan Lady Cyclones in class 4 – region 2 action, three sets to two. The Lady Tigers lost 25-21, 22-25, 25-23, 14,25, 13-15. Each set outside of the fourth one was decided by 4 points or less, including a thriller fifth set that saw both teams go back and forth before the Lady Cyclones were eventually able to pull it out.

The Lady Tigers were led by senior Josi Lonnemann who had 23 kills, a match high. Senior Delaney Bertman also had 11 kills and 21 digs, and senior Morgan Meyer had 15 assists and 12 digs. The team total had 74 digs in the match, and did a great job of keeping the Lady Cyclones hitters at bay. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to win the volleyball game.

The Lady Tigers will be losing four seniors from this year’s team with Lonnemann, Bertman, Meyer, and Abbie Hlas, all who played integral parts of helping the Lady Tigers compete as well as they did this year. ADM will have a lot of talent to replace as it heads into the offseason. The Lady Tigers finished the year with a 10-22 record.
