The Paton-Churdan National Honor Society recently welcomed six new members.
The students who joined include: Bradyn Smith, Carmyn Paup, Megan Palmer, Karissa Stephenson, Danielle Hoyle and Hanna Bundt. High school sophomores, juniors and seniors who have at least a 3.0 grade-point-average are eligible to apply for membership. A faculty committee then reviews the applications and selects students based on the four pillars of NHS: scholarship, leadership, service and character.
A ceremony was held last Tuesday and the new members join six current members: Kyla Beyers, Kaleb Fisher, Jacob Geisler, Madi Minnehan, Jon Thede and Chloe Berns.
