Louden Foster of the West Central Valley Wildcats came away as the winner in the West Central Activities Conference Race on Thursday Afternoon at Panora. Foster clocked in with a time of 16 minutes and 54 seconds, finishing eight seconds ahead of the second place finisher. The men’s race consisted of 155 runners. The West Central Valley Wildcats as a team finished 9th out of 11 teams.
The girls’s team finished last in the team standings, but did have some runners that were competitive with Aliyah Dickson finishing 42nd in the race with a time of 24 minutes and 57 seconds. The girls teams faced a lot of great runners, and numerous state ranked runners.
Foster and the rest of the Wildcats and Lady Wildcats teams will race once again in Panora next Thursday at the district race, with runners looking to qualify for the state race.
