The Panora Chamber of Commerce is holding a ribbon cutting for a new business tomorrow, and the public is invited to have a tail-wagging good time at the new member business this weekend.
The Chamber will welcome the recently opened state-licensed boarding facility Mitzie Rue’s Canine Corral, located at 2706 Roost Lane off Highway 44, just west of Panora. The ribbon cutting will be at 3 p.m., with tours of the facility and refreshments. The business will then have a “Howl-o-Ween” open house from 3-6 p.m. Saturday. There will be tours of the facility, snacks and beverages, kid-friendly activities, a prize giveaway, a book signing from children’s author Kelli Russell, and a take-home goodie bag for your pup.
