Wednesday, October 16th

8:03am: Teresa Beem reported Face Book postings about a family member that she felt were threatening.

9:09am: Linda Eighmy reported damage to the residence at 705 West State Street. She believed a neighbor had struck the house with a camper. The officer learned a 1980 Honey Motor home, registered to Darrell Pratt of Harcourt and operated by Faye Mason of Jefferson, struck the residence while backing into the driveway. The residence had $500.00 in reported damages, while the motor home had a reported $200.00 in damage.

10:00am: Casey’s requested an officer at 508 North Elm Street for a found female purse. They checked in the purse for possible identification when a customer turned it in and had located possible narcotics inside. The officer took possession of the purse and the business is reviewing video to try and determine who left the purse at the business.

11:34am: Lori Blumberg spoke with an officer about a Civil Eviction Process occurring at 306 West Lincoln Way Street.

12:40pm: Katherine Thomas reported a dog running loose at Elm and Madison Streets. The animal’s owner arrived and took custody of the animal.

5:13pm: Janon Olson reported a dog barking in an empty residence at 604 North Olive Street. The officer knocked on the door, but received no response. The residence appeared to be lived in, not empty.

6:40pm: Jackie Cram turned in (2) expired vehicle registration plates she had found at 609 East Adams Street.

11:41pm: Tammy Reynosa requested officers at 701 North Cedar, lot #32 for a male advising he was loading his gun after an argument with her. The officer was assisted by a duty and a state trooper at the residence. No weapon was located and nothing threatening had occurred. The intoxicated male advised he would sleep in his vehicle to allow things to cool down.
