This coming Wednesday, the Bock Family Foundation will be holding their fall grant presentation, and several local organizations will be awarded funds for their upcoming programs and projects.
The nonprofit foundation supports local groups focused on religious, charitable, scientific, literary, or educational purposes by awarding grants twice a year. In the most recent spring cycle, they awarded 23 grants for a total of $60,084. Since its founding in 2002, the Bock Family Foundation has given more than $1.8 million. Each project funded is located in Dallas County, with preference given to the four northwest townships. All recipients are nonprofit organizations or a unit of state or local government.
The fall grant presentation will be held Wednesday, October 23rd at 3:30 p.m. in the Perry Public Library’s large meeting room. Recipients have been notified that they’ve received funding, though not the dollar amount, and each group is encouraged to have a representative on hand to accept their grant and explain what it will be used for.
