Prairie Lakes AEA sponsored former Iowa State University basketball player Royce White’s speaking engagement in Jefferson last night at Greene County High School. White spoke about mental health issues, a topic he’s been open about since his ISU playing days.

White spoke with Raccoon Valley Radio last night as well. He was asked how it felt to be at the forefront of today’s mental health conversation. “Good and bad. It shouldn’t have taken for me the one. That’s the most salient point. The most salient take away from me being at the forefront is just how late that was.”

White lives in Minnesota and spends much of his time traveling and speaking about mental health issues.
