Friday, October 11th
813: Lora Smalley reported she believed she had fallen for a Scam Phone Call. A caller asked if she could hear them. She said, “Yes” and the call ended. The officer advised her to monitor her credit and banking records in the near future for unauthorized transactions.
8:37am: Officers assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 600 Block of South Cedar Street.
9:05am: An officer located two dogs running loose near Chestnut and Madison Streets. The officer learned who the owner was and returned the animals to him.
9:26am: Officers assisted the GC Ambulance and Medical Examiner in the 700 Block of North Cedar Street with an Unattended Death.
3:04pm: An officer was requested to assist a deputy with a vehicle in the ditch near 280th and Hwy. 4. The driver was arrested for, “OWI 1st Offense -Serious” by the deputy.
5:22pm: An officer responded to an Alarm Activation at 300 American Drive. The wind was to blame for the alarm trip and all was fine at the facility.
10:49pm: Lauren Schulte requested an officer at 108 East Central #58 to remove an unwanted male from the residence. The male subject had left before the officer arrived.
Saturday, October 12th
9:17am: Autumn Kokenge reported her juvenile daughter advised her that on the previous evening, a male in a trench coat had extended his arm towards her as she walked in the 600 Block of South Vine Street. The frightened teen age girl ran home and advised her mother the next morning of the event.
5:49pm: Janice Napolitano reported that unknown subjects had duct taped her rural mailbox shut at 1201 West Lincoln Way Street. The officer removed the tape and found nothing inside the mailbox.
8:06pm: Melinda Millard reported a possible No Contact Order Violation occurring at 105 North Walnut Street. The officer found no evidence to support the reported crime.
Sunday, October 13th
1:07am: A caller advised of the smell of burning marijuana coming from a residence in the 100 Block of South Maple Street.
5:55am: Katherine Wilson reported a male screaming outside in the 300 Block of East Lincoln Way Street. The officers located the male, who advised he was listening to music. They instructed him to go inside and quiet down.
4:10pm: The GC Medical Center ER requested an officer at 1000 West Lincoln Way Street. They reported a female was present and advised she had been assaulted in Jefferson. The officer is investigating the reported event.
6:21pm: A Traffic Stop at 220th and Mulberry Streets resulted in Jessie Spivey of Ricketts being cited for, “Fail to Have a Valid DL.”

Monday, October 14th
2:42am: A parking violation was issued to Shawn Olson in the 200 block of South Chestnut Street for No Parking – Street Sweeping.
2:47am: A parking violation was issued to Jennie Olson in the 200 block of South Chestnut Street for No Parking – Street Sweeping.
6:58am: Janice Napolitano reported a missing package that was to be delivered to her residence. The contents of the package totaled $250.00 in value. An officer investigated and determined no packages were delivered to the residence on the day it was supposedly delivered.
11:39am: An officer responded to the intersection of North Vine Street and West Reed Street. David Holley was operating a 2001 Chevy Silverado in the 200 block of West Reed Street. David was backing up in the roadway and struck a 2007 Buick Terraza being driven by Debbie Dennhardt behind him. The Silverado sustained $300 in damages and the Terraza sustained $1,000 in damages. As a result, David Holley was issued citations for Unsafe Backing Upon Highway and Driving While License Suspended. David’s vehicle was also towed to the City of Jefferson Impound Lot where an inventory of the vehicle was completed. Suspected drug paraphernalia was found in the vehicle. The item will be sent to be tested at the Carroll Police Department.
2:32pm: Eric Chrystal reported a missing vehicle. An officer assisted him with locating it.
4:37pm: An officer assisted a stranded motorist at the intersection of 270th and Neola Avenue.
5:05pm: Jeanise Pedersen spoke with an officer about possible illegal activity.
5:22pm: Dispatch received a misdialed 911 call from 1406 South Field Drive.
6:45pm: As a result of a traffic stop in the 300 block of West Sunset Road, Slater Kirk was issued a citation for Dark Windows.
7:47pm: An officer responded to 200 West State Street (Wells Fargo) for an alarm. Everything was found to be okay.
10:40pm: A parking violation was issued to Angela Lowmiller in the 300 block of South Vine Street for 48 Hour Parking.
