The ADM Tigers and Lady Tigers cross country teams are racing in Winterset for the Raccoon River Conference Meet. They will be taking on various schools including Ballard, Bondurant-Farrar, Boone, Carlisle Community Schools, Perry Community School, and  Winterset. The teams have had three races cancelled throughout the year, including Atlantic last weekend that was rescheduled for last Saturday, but they weren’t able to work the race into their time frame.

Nate Mueller is expected to be the favorite on the men’s side, and Geneva Timmerman for the girls will look to put on a strong showing in her first conference race. Both teams are hoping to finish in the upper echelon of the rankings by the end of the day.

This will be the first race in 21 days for either team, so it should be interesting to see if the teams can shake off the rust and get out of the gate quickly as they look to put on a good showing down in Winterset.
