On Friday, the Dallas Center-Grimes Football picked up their sixth consecutive win of the season over the Toreadors of Boone, 30-6.

DC-G, now 6-1 on the season, was in control the entire game, both defensively and offensively.

The Mustangs defense picked off Boone five times on Friday, two of which were snagged by Senior, Gabe Jorgenson.

Starting QB, Junior Ty Walker, had another impressive night under center.  Walker threw three touchdown passes on the evening, one to Caden Grimes, and a pair of passes crossed the end zone in Isacc Boley’s hands.  Walker was 10/15 on the night passing, with three touchdowns, and one interception.

Zach Brand also crossed the goal line once with the lone rushing touchdown for the Mustangs.  Brand carried the ball 12 times for 73 yards on the ground versus Boone.

DC-G travels to Webster City this Friday for Week 8 action.  Tune in for the Dallas County PM Sports Page tonight on KDLS to hear Head Coach, Scott Heitland’s reaction from the Boone contest, and his expectations for this week’s game, as well.
