The Adel-Desoto-Minburn Lady Tigers Volleyball Team faced a good slate of teams over the weekend as they went 1-4 in a tournament played down at Pella High School. The Lady Tigers won their first match over the host school two sets to one and had a great team performance totaling seventeen kills in the match.

The Lady Tigers then played Mediapolis, Iowa City Liberty, Knoxville, and Bondurant and were unable to get a victory in any of those games, those they did take Bondurant to three sets. Mediapolis, Iowa City Liberty, and Knoxville all had one loss or less coming into the tournament, so the Lady Tigers faced some excellent competition and were able to hang around in most sets played.

The Lady Tigers are now 9-17 on the year, and will look for a little revenge on Tuesday when they take on Bondurant once again for Raccoon River Conference play.
