Area residents can help support the Stuart Fire Department at a couple of events this evening.
The department is hosting their annual french toast supper fundraiser from 5:30-8 p.m. at the fire station. They will be serving french toast, sausages, eggs and more for a freewill donation. The Stuart Fire Auxiliary is also hosting their annual auction at 6:30 p.m. Items include a one night stay at Hotel Pattee in Perry, tickets to the Boone Scenic Railroad Picnic Train and the Omaha Zoo. They’re also holding a quarter beef raffle, provided by Schneider Cattle Company. Raffle tickets are $5 and can be purchased at City Hall or at the supper. The drawing will be held at 7 p.m., though winners don’t have to be present. All proceeds will benefit the fire department.
