The Perry City Council will convene Monday evening in regular session.

The meeting will begin with the swearing in of new police officers. In old business, the Council will consider a resolution approving the purchase of a used plow truck from the City of Clive for $54,000. In new business, they will have discussion and possible action on setting dates for the annual Safety and Employee Appreciation Day and fall yard waste burning. Next, they will consider an engagement agreement with the Ahlers and Cooney Law Firm regarding eminent domain authority on the acquisition of property for the Perry Municipal Airport.

Other items on the agenda include: a resolution approving the economic development contract with TC&B Corporate Wearables; setting public hearings for a voluntary annexation and notice to dispose of public property; and approving the final site plan for Green Stream Homes Apartments. The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Monday in the Clarion Room at Perry City Hall.
