The Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers picked up their first district win of the season on Friday night as they took down the Creston Panthers by the score of 42-28. The Tigers were led by their ground attack of Justice Paulsen, who had a big night with 26 carries, 151 yards, and a touchdown. The ADM offense racked up some big time yards all night long as they had 459 yards on the night, with 261 yards being on the ground.

The team jumped out to a quick 14-0 lead, aided by a huge trick play when Lucus Ray threw a pass to Zach Fuller for a touchdown, but the Panthers struck a couple of times in the second quarter as ADM went to the locker room with a 21-14 play. The biggest play of the game came in the third quarter, when Panther quarterback Eli Louden went back to pass, the ball was tipped at the line of scrimmage by defensive end Tom Boorn, then Kaden Sutton  caught the pass in the end zone for a pick six. The Tigers didn’t look back the rest of the night after that play.

This was the first time that the Tigers have defeated Creston since the 2013 season. The ADM Tigers will enjoy the win over the weekend before getting back to work next week as they host Glenwood in Adel.
