As the Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center Marching Band helps cheer on the Chargers at the homecoming football game tonight, the public is invited to cheer on the band at the 62nd annual Carroll Band Day tomorrow.

The band will soar through the City of Carroll with this year’s superhero show theme, featuring the themes from Spider-Man, Captain America, and The Avengers. Field show drum major and senior Peyton Emgarten comments on their group of about 50 musicians performing, “I think there’s a pretty good mix of newcomers to upperclassmen, definitely a lot of student leadership which is very good to see. I just think that we have a bunch of potential for our band this year.”

The parade begins at 10:30 a.m. on North Adams Street where it intersects with West 9th Street. The bands will then go south to West 7th Street, travel east to North Clark Street, and then head back north to East 9th Street where it will head through the judging area at Graham Park and then finish on East 8th Street, south of the Carroll Athletic Stadium.
