The Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers football team has been making a lot of strides this year, including an opportunistic defense that is finding ways to force teams to turnover the ball. The Tigers defense has forced eleven turnovers on the year thus far, as they have picked off five passes for interceptions and recovered six fumbles as well.
The Tigers have had a host of players with an interception and/or a fumble, with nine total players recording one or the other. Senior Trevor Smith leads the team with two interceptions on the year, and Chase Anderson leads the team with two fumble recoveries during the 2019 campaign.
The Tigers will be looking for more big plays on the defensive side of the football when they take on Creston on Friday in their first of three district home games on the year. Kickoff is at seven o’clock.
