A Scranton man was arrested for allegedly stealing several items.
Greene County Sheriff Jack Williams says 24-year-old Kole Higgins was arrested Tuesday and charged with two Class D Felonies for third-degree burglary and second-degree theft. Williams tells Raccoon Valley Radio an investigation began Friday, September 27th when the victims in Churdan reported to the sheriff’s office of several stolen items. Two search warrants were then executed on Sunday at two residences where Higgins was living at, including the 26000 block of Zephyr Avenue in Carroll County and the 1100 block of Lincoln Street in Scranton.
Williams says they recovered two truck loads of the Muppets and NASCAR memorabilia. An arrest warrant was then issued and the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office arrested Higgins Tuesday at his Carroll County home. Higgins was booked and remains in the Greene County Jail, where he was later released on his own recognizance. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
