The Perry Public Library is hosting the next event in their monthly Craft Club program, though anyone interested in attending needs to sign up soon.
Perry Library Director Mary Murphy says the club will meet on Monday, October 14th at 6:30 p.m., and it will be led by Minburn Public Library Director Nicole Connick. Murphy says the craft for this month is perfect for your fall celebrations. “The theme for this month (is) pumpkins! We’re making three little pumpkins out of two-by-fours, and this would make a very, very cute centerpiece for your table for Thanksgiving. You can bring your kids. We had a father and a son, a mother and a son, (and) a mother and a daughter last time. So I think this is the kind of craft that you could do as a family.”
There is no cost to attend this or any future Craft Club events, and all supplies are provided. However, Murphy emphasizes that registration is required so they can ensure there are enough materials for everyone, and the deadline to sign up is today at 8 p.m. For more information or to register, stop in or call the Perry Library at 515-465-3569.
