Genesis Development is making changes following what the Board of Directors has deemed as budget shortfalls.

The Board has identified several financial difficulties, including receiving partial or full payments from the Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) from the state’s privatization of Medicaid system. The Board says one of the changes is moving interim CEO Wendy Malone to an advisory position to the Board and Genesis leadership. Another change will be looking at partnerships with other organizations and companies to continue to provide services to all of its members, including transferring mental health services, which will be to Zion Recovery later this month.
