The Dallas Center Grimes Mustangs had a very successful homecoming Friday Night against fellow Dallas County Rival the Perry Bluejays by taking care of business early and winning by the score of 41-0. The Mustangs defense recorded two pick sixes in the first half, one by Blake Willey and another by Nic Lawton. The defense forced the Perry offense into multiple turnovers on the night, many that they capitalized into points.

Ty Walker threw for two touchdown passes and Luke Busby found paydirt twice on the ground as well as the teams found the turbo clock for the second half of play.

The Mustangs have won four straight after losing their season opener, and hope to continue their streak next week when they travel to Humboldt.
