Fans of superheroes can head to Deal’s Orchard today for Superhero Day.

Co-owner Gerald Deal talks about the main festivities of the event.

“We give a discount to the service people, also any people like the policemen (and) the firemen. We have that opportunity for them to come out. We also have the superheroes dressed up (and) kids can get their pictures taken with them.”

There will also be fire and law enforcement vehicles on display for kids to explore. All real life superheroes, such as police, fire, emergency personnel and military are admitted for free to Apple Acres today, with proof of identification. Apple Acres and the corn maze are both open today. Superhero Day will take place from 1-4pm. If there is inclement weather, adjustments will be made at Deal’s Orchard.
