The West Central Valley Wildcats played a tough opponent on Friday night in Mount Ayr and were unable to come away with the victory after falling 41-0. The teams got in a lightning delay during the halftime period and both sides decided to call it quits after one half of play.

Mount Ayr coming into the game was undefeated and moved to 5-0 on the year after the victory. The Wildcats are continuing to improve on a weekly basis though they still haven’t been able to tally a victory in the winning column yet.

The schedule does not get any easier for the Wildcats when they travel to state power Van Meter next week for a tough matchup against another undefeated team.
