The Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers had a tough challenge in front of them Friday Night in Harlan and fell to the Cyclones by the score of 41-28. The Tigers jumped out to an early 14-0 led behind am eight yard rushing touchdown by Justice Paulsen and a 33 yard touchdown throw between Tate Stine-Smith and Zach Fuller.
Harlan got back into the game and would not look back as quarterback Johnathan Monson tallied 240 yards on the ground on 17 carries, along with a couple of touchdown passes as well. The big difference for the game was the rushing attacks, the Tigers attempted 38 rushing attempts and only got 91 yars on the night, Harlan attempted 33 times, and created a monster total of 352 yards on the night.
The ADM defense was led by Nathan Pfifner with six tackles and Nathan Conrad with five. The team only had one turnover on the night and ADM didn’t have any penalties on the night as they played a very clean game.
The Tigers will have district play continue next week when they begin their slate of two straight games at home when they take on Creston.
