The Guthrie Center City Council met in regular session Monday.
The meeting began with the Council approving a resolution to set the maximum balance of $3.5 million for legal depositories. Next, the Council adopted an amendment to the C-3 permitted principal uses and structures zoning ordinance upon second reading, waiving the third. The amendment relates to the newly opened Precision Components business on State Street. Finally, no action was taken on a professional services agreement with engineering firm Short Elliott Hendrickson, Inc. for a culvert project, as the City is awaiting more information from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
