After a 19 day layoff that included three different races cancelled or rescheduled, the West Central Valley men’s and women’s cross country teams finally got back on the course at the Hillcrest Country Club in Adel. Louden Foster showed no signs of rust, as he finished second in the race with a time of 17 minutes and six seconds. Foster had a great race against very talented teams from around the area.
Foster showed why he is one of the top runners in class 1A racing, starting the race quickly and finishing strong to put up a solid finish.
The Wildcats will try not to wait another 19 days for a different race, as they have another race scheduled for tomorrow at Roland-Story High School.
