A severe thunderstorm brought heavy rain and lightning in Adair County as Raccoon Valley Radio brought live coverage Tuesday night.

A severe thunderstorm warning was issued for Adair County at 9:53 p.m. to last until 10:45 p.m. The affected areas included the City of Stuart, with the possible threats being 60 mile-per-hour winds and quarter-sized hail. The warning was cancelled at 10:14 p.m. after the storm had weakened below severe limits and posed no immediate threat to life or property. Four members of the Raccoon Valley Radio Severe Weather Action Team brought live coverage of the storm.
