The AC/GC volleyball team will face their biggest test of the season.
The Chargers will welcome in Des Moines Christian into Guthrie Center for what is set to be a big-time matchup. DMC comes in 13-0, only dropping one set during that span. They are led by Alysen Dexter who paces the team with 133 kills in 30 sets and 20 aces.
AC/GC is coming off a third place finish in their home tournament over the weekend where they went 4-1. Head Coach Trevor Irwin tells Raccoon Valley Radio that his team is excited for this test. The Chargers come into Tuesday night with a 16-2 record and one of the top players in Iowa in Chloe Largent. The Sophomore is second in the entire state, regardless of class, in kills with 288 in 46 sets.
The match is set to start at 7 p.m. tonight at AC/GC High School.
